a current student (undergraduates and postgraduates), member of staff (whether on a permanent ofr temporary basis), contractor of the Licensee, or through membership of a professional body
a walk-in user but only for the time he or she is within the premises of the Licensee
Permitted use
Authorized users may
search, retrieve, display and view the licensed Material
electronically save items taken from the Licensed Material (subject to the use of valid Access credits
copy and paste not more than 5%, and print not more than 5% of any item taken form the Licensed Material
publicly display or publicly perform parts of the Licensed Materials as part of a presentation at a seminar, conference, or workshop, or other such similar activity, provided that no such presentation includes substantially the whole of any item
make such copies of training material and network such training material as may be required for the purpose of using the Licensed Material in accordance with this License agreement
Prohibited use
Authorized users may not
Commercial use
sell or resell or permit others to sell or resell the Licensed Material unless the Licensee or an Authorised User has been granted prior written consent by Dawson to do so
Copying and downloading
display or distribute any part of the Licensed Material on any external electronic network, including without limitation the Internet and the World Wide Wev, and any other distribution medium now in existence or hereinafter created, other than by a secure network
systematically make print or electronic copies of multiple extracts of the license material for any purpose other tan as explicitly permitted
publish, distribute or make available any of the Licensed Material, works base on the Licensed Material or works which combine it with any other material, other than as permitted in this License Agreement
Other
remove, obscure or modify any copyright or other notice, text acknowledging or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear
alter, adapt, convert or modify the Licensed Material or the format in which it is provided, or make any attempt to do the same (including, but not limited to, any act which alters or circumvents any digital rights management protocols applied to the licensed material by Dawson except to the extent necessary to comply with the requirements of applicable law (including without limitation any statutory requirement to make the Licensed Material available to people with disabilities)
Access
Access by IP-address in the university network.
Remote access is permitted for Authorized Users using University of Turku's utu-username.
