E-aineistojen käyttöehdot: Thieme e-books

The Thieme E-Book Library is an acclaimed online collection of lavishly illustrated full-color downloadable textbooks from Thieme’s renowned Color Atlases and Flexibook series. Each electronic book retains the outstanding educational utility of the print version, including exquisite full-color illustrations and instructive text – plus a powerful search function to help users easily locate topics across the entire collection.

This comprehensive electronic library covers every course in the medical school curriculum to help students, researchers and clinicians master critical subjects in medicine and the life sciences.

Authorized user

• all current emplyees, permanent and visiting faculty
• students of the Subscriber (University of Turku)
• walk-in users

Authorized users may

 Copying

• retrieve, display, download and print out copies of individual articles or other items from the online form of the Publications
  • such copying shall be limited to making single copies of a reasonable number of individual items

Transmission

• transmit items from the Publications to other Authorized Users

Authorized users may not

Copying

• make any unauthorized copies of individual articles or other items from the online form of the Publications

Other

• modify, adapt, transform, translate or create any derivative works based on any materials included in the Publications, or otherwise use any such materials, in a manner that would infringe the copyright therein
• remove, obscure or modify any copyright notices, other notices or disclaimers included by the Publisher in the online  form the Publication or any accompanying screen displays

Access by IP-address in the university network.

Remote access is permitted for Authorized Users using University of Turku's utu-username.

Single copies of the electronic version of articles can be printed out and the print copies may be used by Subscriber and their Authorized Users in accordance with their usual and customary policies and practices and applicable copyright laws including the making of interlibrary loans.

• Electronic copies of the Publications or portions of the Publications shall not be transmitted to others than Authorizes Users.
