The EU Information Centre has the status of a European Documentation Centre (EDC) and it receives free copies of documents published by the institutions of the EU. In addition to this, the Centre makes its own acquisitions. Acquisition requests are welcome.

Eurovoc - the EU's multilingual thesaurus
EuroVoc is a multilingual, multidisciplinary thesaurus covering the activities of the EU, the European Parliament in particular. It contains terms in 23 EU languages, plus in three languages of countries which are candidates for EU accession.
EU Vocabularies
The EU Vocabularies website provides access to vocabularies managed by the EU institutions and bodies. This includes controlled vocabularies, schemas, ontologies, data models, etc.
