1. ERIC Education Resources Information Center database will be significantly reduced starting from April 2025. The content of the database will also focus more on U.S. research. A more detailed announcement about this will be published in autumn, including on this page.

2. An updated version of the Sage Research Method Online (SRMO) database has been acquired. The database includes videos and e-books on research methods. The previous database covered materials from 2017 to 2023, and the new update also includes the years 2022–2025. New and requested materials include content on data collection from social media platforms.

3. Changes were made to ProQuest database subscriptions in January 2025. The Education Database subscription has been discontinued. The new database is ProQuest One Education, which includes all the content of the Education Database as well as the entire ERIC database.

4. Ebsco updated its user interfaces in January 2025. The new interface applies to, among others, the Education Source Ultimate, ERIC, and Teacher Reference Center databases. Additionally, the e-book service E-book Collection has been renewed, which now opens e-books purchased from Ebsco through Volter links.
