Volter Basic Search

  • find the printed and e-books acquired by the library.
  • remember to log in.

Tips for searching:

  • Boolean operators must be written in capital letters (AND/OR/NOT). The default operator is AND.
  • Truncate with an asterisk (*), mark phrases with " ". You can also use advanced search.
  • You can limit the search by publication year, publication type, owning library, etc. (under "Tweak your search")
  • The books are indexed using the YSO (General Finnish ontology).
  • The e-books are indexed in English.

Is something missing?

If you need a book or a journal article that is not in the library, you can make an acquisition request or order it through our interlibrary loan services!
