Tips for searching:

• Boolean operators must be written in capital letters (AND/OR/NOT). The default operator is AND.
• Truncate with an asterisk (*), mark phrases with " ". You can also use advanced search.
• Theses and dissertations.
• The books are indexed using the YSO (General Finnish ontology).
• The electronic books are indexed in English.
• Books and journals written in the Cyrillic script are found best by searching with Latin transliteration according to the international standard. Notice, that the standard was slightly changed in 1995.

If you need a book or a journal article that is not available at the library, you can make an acquisition request or order it through our interlibrary loan services! Please note that interlibrary loans are fee based.
